The Swine

Yesterday was horrible. I didn't go to work and I skipped classes. I stayed in bed all day. As you know, the Swine flu is going around like crazy. Two girls (luckily, on the other side of my building) have been diagnosed with it and have been quarantined to their apartments. Anyway, I hope I don't have it. I just want to feel better.

39 Uses for a friend

Last weekend my whole apartment went to go see the movie "Where the Wild Things Are". I still don't know how I feel about the movie. The animation was amazing though, almost exactly like the book's illustrations.

Anyway, the movie started to make me reminisce. So Kara had the idea of finding Rexburg's little library. Kara got a library card, and we ended up checking out old children books. I love children's books! I came across a cute little book called "39 Uses for a friend". Here are some of my uses for friends.

What the Crap?!?!?!

I'm obviously horrible at this whole blog thing. It doesn't help that my camera has been having issues. I need to take more pictures.
Anyway, I walked out of my apartment on October 5, 2009, and this is what I saw.

Luckily, It was gone by the end of the day.....But still.

Hello Beautiful...

I thought it was the end of the world when my beloved Q died. I loved everything about it. Yes, I know its massive and loud. But it's seriously the best. I'm spoiled by my family. This time I was spoiled by Emi and her husband, Jon. Jon gave me his old Q. So, once again I am thankfully reunited. I ended up visiting them during my 7 week vacation. It was fun to hang out with them and spend some sister/sister time with the sister.  Emi and I went to see the Proposal, it's much funnier then I thought and now I'm in love with Ryan Reynolds.

before we saw the movie, we went to this cute little Ice cream place called Cookies N' Cream. I had chocolate peanut butter ice cream and Emi had a smoothie. I don't think I have ever had to wait so long for a smoothie. It was as if the smoothie guy was performing a tedious surgical procedure, he even had to call for assistance.

I tried to take a photo booth picture with Emi, but she wouldn't allow it. One of these days I'll get one! On Sunday Jon barbecued. The food was amazing. He also let me drive his new, but old truck. It was surprisingly difficult. I'm thankful for my little car and how easy it is to drive.

Emi is hilarious. She sent me home with 42 yogurts, and other random foods. So my pantry is completely full. Although the drive to Boise from Rexburg is the most loneliest, boring-est, and dullest drive ever, it was totally worth it. I'm a fan of the fam.

Skype!

Since Elizabeth has graduated and will no longer live with me, I looked in to skype. I'm not going to lie, it's basically amazing! Coreena and Leticia have an account now too. Thank you skype.

Congratufreakinlations Lizzy-Poo!

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009-
Was a bitter/sweet day. Lizzy-Poo has graduated. I was able to attend her convocation and watch her receive her diploma (which is actually not her diploma, they don't give the legit one until her degree is audited....and that is what I do where I work. So, I'm working on making this audit not happen-A.k.a. fail her! this way she has to come back and live with me!)

The convocation was interesting. I've never been before  so it's good to know what it will be like .....If I ever get to this point. It was awesome to see her graduate, I'm so happy for her and her accomplishments. Congratulations Elizabeth, I love you!
